We are an Apple Specialist and Authorized Service Provider.
Haddock Corporation saw its beginnings in Wichita, Kansas in 1978.
Richard Haddock was a software developer who wrote the "Petroleum Accountant" for an independent oil operator. The Petroleum Accountant was sold throughout North America and used on the IBM 5110, 5120, and the IBM System/23 Datamaster. By 1983 our company had grown, and Haddock Corporation, known then as "Wichita Software" existed as a pair of "software only" stores.
Apple noticed our expertise and visibility, and asked us to join them in selling Macintosh computers. One weekend with a Macintosh 128k is all it took. Richard Haddock signed up to teach the good news about the Macintosh and Apple in early 1984. Haddock Corporation quickly became the leading Apple dealer in the area, and one of the few considered "Apple Only". Over the years, through thick and thin, we have stuck with Apple.
In 1996, recognized for our commitment to Apple, Haddock Corporation was named an Apple Specialist. Haddock is also a a member of Apple's Preferred Provider Network, providing comprehensive diagnostic and hardware repair on Apple products through carry-in, on-site, and dispatch service. Haddock was chosen as an Apple Higher Education Sales Agent in 1997, working closely with colleges and universities in 11 north central states, Haddock continues to support Apple Computer's commitment to education.
We carry new Macintosh Computers, iPads, iPods, and related accessories. We also repair and upgrade new and late model Apple Computers. We're here to help!
The store is located in Hawthorne Plaza at the edge of Waukee and West Des Moines. About a mile west of the Des Moines Golf Course next to Jethro's BBQ.
